WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AI STARTS DOING MORE… AND HUMANS ARE EXPECTED TO THINK LESS? – Brand Management 151

On September1, 2026, Shailaja Dwivedi Pathak, Managing Partner, B – BLACK BELT BRAND BUILDERS revealed the mnemonic of “The Thinking Olympics™.”
The mnemonic belongs to all of you because the idea came from the participants of the first “The Thinking Olympics™.”
And the participants gave us one more idea: “Why not have a full-day session on the practical application of Agentic AI?”
We loved the idea.
Because even in the age of Agentic AI, thinking remains a human responsibility. As AI becomes more capable of executing tasks, we need to think at a higher level; with critical thinking, analytical thinking, strategic thinking, problem-solving, judgement, and decision-making.
Working effectively with Agentic AI also requires us to think differently.
It is no longer just about writing good prompts.
It is about framing the right problem, setting the right objectives, asking the right questions, evaluating AI’s output, and applying human judgement before making decisions.
AI may do more of the doing. But humans still have to do the thinking.
And that is where the old computing principle GIGO — Garbage In, Garbage Out — remains remarkably relevant.
The quality of what we get from a system depends greatly on the quality of what we put into it.
That is why we are introducing a full-day Agentic AI application session as Day 3 of “The Thinking Olympics™.”
Of course, this session is optional and can be customised to the specific needs of the client.
For more details about the 3-day “The Thinking Olympics™” module, please contact Shailaja Dwivedi Pathak or Vivek Hattangadi.
Let me reiterate
“AI MAY DO MORE OF THE DOING. BUT HUMANS STILL HAVE TO DO THE THINKING.”
