The Story of How the Mnemonic of “The Thinking Olympics™” Took Birth!
It was during the afternoon coffee break of our first module on “The Thinking Olympics. ™”
I was sipping my coffee.
Shailaja came to me excitedly and almost shouted, “Eureka, Baba! I have discovered something that will excite you too…”
As it happens in such workshops, within moments, a few curious participants gathered around us to ask a few questions on the case study.
We stopped our conversation and began interacting with them.
On our way back to our rooms at the resort, Shailaja said something that had been on her mind.
“Baba, did you notice the participants’ body language and posture during the case study?”
I shook my head.
“Baba, the participants sat quietly, one hand resting thoughtfully on their chins, their eyes focused and reflective. Their posture captured a moment of deep-thinking questioning, analysing, connecting ideas, and searching for a better answer. I think we should work on this as the mnemonic for The Thinking Olympics™.”
“Go ahead, Shailajabeta. We have been thinking about this for the past few weeks but couldn’t come up with an aesthetic and simple mnemonic for our flagship module. Your keen observation is of great value.”
Shailaja worked on it and you can now see the mnemonic here.
And thus, the mnemonic for “The Thinking Olympics™” was born.
